Dosage Instructions

For Water Clarification

Standard Treatment: Minimum dose of ¼ lb per 1,000 gallons of water
Heavy Suspended Dirt: Ponds with high levels of suspended particles may require 2-3 times the standard amount (½ to ¾ lb per 1,000 gallons)

For Phosphate Control

Treatment Rate: Add 20 lbs per acre-foot (326,000 gallons) of pond/lake water

Large-Scale Clarification

Minimum Dosage: 80 lbs per acre-foot of water for comprehensive clarification treatment
Minimum dose for clarification is ¼ lbs per 1000 gallons. Some ponds with heavy suspended dirt levels may require 2X or 3X this amount.

How It Works
PHOSCLEAR® works by binding with phosphates and suspended particles in the water, causing them to clump together and settle out of the water column. This process removes excess nutrients that fuel algae growth while simultaneously clarifying the water by removing suspended debris and dirt particles.
